I embroidered this little bird. Embroidery is relaxing and takes your mind off your problems. This turned out just beautiful. I am very proud of my hand embroidered bird.

I have been celebrating Christmas, cleaning and decluttering. I made this homemade Pecan Pumpkin Pie -- easy, yummy and delicious.

I have been embroidering alot. I finished a angel---- " I dun my best" finally and made a little wall hanging of it. Will soon post more embroidery that I have been doing.

My son started 5th grade yesterday. My oldest is 20. My how time flies. There he is all ready to start school.

I started crocheting him a red, black and white (his color choice for GA bulldogs) afghan, will post that soon.

Nanook(alaskan for polar bear)

This is my new puppy. His name is Nanook (or Nanuq-alaskan for polar bear) is a red/white alaskan malamute purebreed. He is so sweet and adorable. We all just love him. He is six weeks old and weighs 12.2 lbs.

Last night we went to a nearby church that had a drive thru live nativity. It was so pretty. They did a great job. They had people read a little paragraph at your car for each scene and then had christmas music playing.....

There are so many cute aprons out there. Heres an example of an adorable pattern for aprons. What I want to know is there someone out there really wearing aprons???????????????????????????????????

I would like to think that I might however when I start to cook I just dont think I need the super cute apron to cover my old tshirt. Maybe I should, however....

The first fancy cake I have ever made. In honor of the 4 wheeler for his birthday. The 10th year...the year of the 4 wheeler.

Well the party was a success..they all had a good time and its over.
Now I guess its countdown to Christmas. Its hard to believe another year is almost over.

Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff-- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see. This was passed on to me from another pumpkin. Now, it is your turn to pass it to a pumpkin. I liked this enough to post it to all the pumpkins in my patch. Happy Fall! Ya'll

Felted Wool Purse

I am working on a felted wool purse. I am using Plymouth Yarns Boku #6. Its a beautiful striping yarn. I hope to have it completed soon. I ran out of yarn today. I am going to get some tomorrow. It is looking great so far. Cant wait to see the finished product.

Austins School
4th grade has a lot more homework than 1-3. Austin is doing very well; works hard at school and does his homework every evening. He makes me very proud.

I had a fun day today!!!!!!I had a special day courteous of David.(Our last date night of the summer but a daytime date) We went to two quilt stores in Marietta and I got lots of great stuff!!!! Got a new shirt from Kohls, super super cute. I also got lots of wool for prim projects. I am going to be busy. Tomorrow we go pick up Austin from his dads. Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! I can't wait to see him. I have missed him so much.
